Transportation and road maintenance have always been as one of the greatest services the economy of any given country should offer. Complexities and also interrelations of innovations in this field and particularly the application of both technological and industrial achievements have generated comprehensive necessities pertaining to transportation settings which call for attention to preserve efficiency and progress.

Accordingly, the engineering company, ARG, was founded in 2003. ARG has being involved in traffic engineering for 16 years after 7 years experiences of its directorate board in Iranian Ministry of Road and Transportation. Backed by several years of experience and capabilities needed in diverse fields of studies and applied research in transportation, this company has been in charge of operating various projects with regards to transportation planning and management, road safety, producing and running traffic equipment and intelligent transportation Systems and devices as well as holding training courses for various transportation users.

Transportation and road safety studies and research:
Research and study are the sources for all of new innovations. Any data monitoring and information analysis for planning, decision making and policy setting specially in a field as succeeding and ever-innovating as transportation industry would require applicable studies and research. As you may know, there are more than 80,000 Km of arterial roads in IRAN rural area; more than 90 percent of passenger and freight transport through roads. Therefore, road transportation is the most important mode of transportation. The traffic accident rate in IRAN is so high and there are a lot of activities to reduce the rate in recent years. ARG, supported by a strong track record, has directed various projects including those of transportation management and planning, road safety, road safety audit and intelligent transportation systems, and has also been providing consultancy to numerous organizations and offices in charge of giving transportation services, both suburban and urban. We proud that ARG is one of the pioneer company works on road safety in IRAN
Design, Product and implementation of intelligent transportation systems and traffic devices
The means of having the access to a safe and efficient transportation network made upon smart traffic devices and intelligent transportation system specially in road sections play a major role in road sections play a major role in providing traffic safety smooth trafficking and, accordingly, in cutting delay time, reducing fuel consumption and eventually boosting transportation productivity. Consequently and considering the importance the aforementioned devices and equipment in achieving the goals mentioned above. Through customizing modern technologies ARG has operated many projects in designing, producing and executing transportation equipment and systems including installing traffic classifiers, speed camera, ANPR systems, weight in motion (WIM).
Safety training:
Education has always been considered as one of the cornerstones of sustainable development in every society. That is why one of the major plots of safety and transportation would have to do with education in its general sense. The years between 2000 and 2010 can be called the decade of education in transportation industry in Iran. This has been well manifested by the launching of a massive number of projects preformed in the second half of the decade.

ARG is honored to have been operating as one of the pioneering operators in providing instructional technical courses for different relating, organizations and staff / personnel including provincial road maintenance and traffic petrol department experts, directors and administrators of various transportation corporations as well as professional vehicle drivers. Besides holding training courses, ARG programs new training syllabus based on the everyday needs of road transportation users. This has been performed through signing in experts and also by training them on developing educational programs in accordance with transportation development in the country.

ARG Is the Reference in Traffic Classifying services and safety researches:

ARG has being installed and maintained more than 75% existing traffic classifiers in urban and rural area in IRAN road network.
ARG has more than 50 highly qualified & dynamic employees (20 in central office and 30 ARG service providers in overall IRAN provinces).
ARG has prepare more than 20 research and case study about safety and ITS.
ARG is the first company that introduce traffic classifier with wireless data transmission in Iran.
More than 1000 vehicle classifier are installed in 32 provinces in all over Iran
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS); ARG activities are divided to two sections in this matter. First, research and ITS planning in regional pilot area. The other is introducing, installing and servicing in ITS instruments. For example, we have being installed and serviced more than 400 traffic classifier in the roads.
Road transportation Safety issues; we have done some Research and consulting projects on road safety in Iran. Because of experiences in this section we intended to increase our activities to introduce more safety equipment in Iran road transportation market.
Training Course about road safety and ITS for police officers and passengers and commercial vehicles drivers.
